Thermal diagnostics
We take thermal imaging measurements for energy production, electrical engineering, industry and structural engineering

We test:
  • Machines and power equipment prior to repair and acceptance
  • Chimney stacks
  • Pipelines and heat distribution networks
  • Electrical power equipment (thermal testing)
  • Substations from 0.4 – 400 kV
  • High-voltage lines
  • Thermal insulation of buildings
  • Using our specialist expertise, including in the field of reinforced concrete chimney stacks
Thermal diagnostics serve mainly to:
  • Calculate the temperature field on an object's surface
  • Establish and classify faults and instances of overheating
  • Provide pre-repair tests enabling the purpose and scope of the work to be defined
  • Provide follow-up quality assessments of the work performed and produce a differential thermal matrix for the object being tested
Advantages of the thermal imaging method:
  • No need to shut down the installation
  • Non-destructive tests
  • Speed
  • Objects can be identified together with photo documentation
  • Ability to take measurements from an aircraft or helicopter
We use the following measurement and monitoring equipment:
  • Thermal imaging cameras: FLIR ThermaCAM P-620 and AGEMA 470i
  • Quicktemp 850 pyrometer
  • SKF TMDT 1300 thermometer
  • Solomat 510e meter equipped with temperature probe, anemometer and hygrometer
  • Sony DCR-HC96E video camera
